What is TreeBay.in?
TreeBay.in is a premium mango tree rental platform that connects you directly with verified Konkan farms. You rent an actual mango tree for the season, track its growth through live updates, and receive farm-fresh Alphonso & Hapus mangoes delivered to your doorstep.
How does renting a mango tree work?
It’s simple — choose a plan, and we assign you a real mango tree from one of our partner farms in the Konkan region. Throughout the season, you receive photo and video updates of your tree. Once the mangoes are ripe and harvested, we pack and ship them directly to you with no cold storage involved.
What mango varieties are available?
We primarily offer Alphonso (Hapus) mangoes, the king of mangoes, sourced from Ratnagiri, Devgad, and surrounding Konkan areas. Depending on availability, we may also offer Kesar and Payari varieties in select plans.
How much yield will I receive?
Yield depends on the plan you choose. Our plans specify a guaranteed minimum yield (e.g., 3 dozen, 5 dozen, or more). If your tree produces less than the guaranteed minimum, we compensate with mangoes from our reserve stock at no extra cost.
When are mangoes delivered?
Mango season in Konkan runs from April to June. Harvesting is done in batches as mangoes ripen naturally. You’ll typically receive 2–3 deliveries spread across the season, ensuring you always get perfectly ripe fruit.
Can I visit my rented tree?
Yes! We encourage farm visits. Coordinated visits can be arranged with our partner farms during the season. It’s a wonderful experience to see your tree in person and enjoy the lush Konkan countryside. Contact us to schedule a visit.
Is the farming organic?
Our partner farms follow traditional Konkan farming practices that are largely organic. We avoid chemical ripening agents entirely — all mangoes are naturally ripened on the tree or using traditional methods. Specific organic certifications vary by farm.
What if my tree produces less than the guaranteed yield?
We stand behind our guarantee. If your assigned tree’s yield falls below the guaranteed minimum for your plan, we supplement your delivery with mangoes from our reserve trees at no additional cost. In rare cases of crop failure, we offer a full refund or rollover to the next season.
Can I gift a tree rental to someone?
Absolutely! Mango tree rentals make a unique and memorable gift. During checkout, you can enter the recipient’s details and we’ll send them a beautiful digital gift card along with all tree updates and deliveries.
How do I track my tree’s progress?
Once your tree is assigned, you’ll get access to your personal dashboard where you can view live photos, growth milestones, and harvest updates. We send regular updates via email and WhatsApp throughout the season so you’re always connected to your tree.
